This topic explains how to perform the basic operations of Slawdog Smart Shutdown.
Situation: You want to reboot your computer at 8:03pm.
What You do:
1. Launch Slawdog Smart Shutdown.
2. Choose "Reboot" in ' 5 '.
3. Click on "Set" button. NOTE: If you do not see "Set" button like on picture above, click on '7' instead.
4. Click on "At..." button.
5. Enter "8:03pm" at the edit box.
6. Click OK button.
7. Click '4' ('Activate') button if '6' indicator does not display "Activated" string.
Situation: You tuned Slawdog Smart Shutdown to hibernate at 15:14 and want to change the time of hibernation to occur after 2 hours.
What you do:
1. Click '7'.
2. Click "After" button.
3. Enter 2 to the edit box.
4. Choose "Hours" from drop down menu.
5. Click OK.
6. Click '4' ('Activate') button.
Situation: You want Slawdog Smart Shutdown to turn off Your computer if you are inactive for 1 hour. (see Smart Shutdown Functions to find out how Slawdog Smart Shutdown determines when you are inactive)
What you do:
1. Launch Slawdog Smart Shutdown.
2. Press "Smart shutdown" button.
3. Enter "1" to the edit box.
4. Choose "Hours" from drop down menu.
5. Press OK.
