A Shift in Services Focus
In effort to consolidate its resources and discontinue slightly profitable services Slawdog E-Solutions has stopped providing intranet and extranet design, consulting, and web hosting services. Instead we will concentrate on software development and web design. After being acquired earlier this month, Slawdog made such decision in accordance with the plan of complete reorganization of its business. August 25, 2005
Life is Over
As of August 19th 2005, Slawdog E-Solutions has discontinued the Slawdog A-Life software, in accordance with total reorganization of its business. As a result, Slawdog permanently stopped development of new versions, removed all A-Life installation packages and related information from corporate website, and requests the removal of A-Life from 3rd party software listings and websites. Changes are Coming
As of August 12th, 2005, Slawdog E-Solutions has been acquired by new owners. Ipso facto, in the near future Slawdog will undertake a complete business reorganization. Shiny New Slawdog Smart Shutdown
Continuing on our never-ending quest to satisfy our current users, we have released a beta patch for Slawdog Smart Shutdown 2003. Countdown to 2003
After nearly half a year, Slawdog has finally finished what is now their most popular free utility, Smart Shutdown 2003. This long-awaited version adds to its feature list automatic timer activation, support for Hibernation on Windows Me, automatic connection determination for modem hang up, remote shutdown for Windows NT. Our highly regarded Windows shutdown solution, Slawdog Smart Shutdown 1.4, was featured May 12th and 13th on TechTV's Call for Help, a television show that showcases free utilities that make computing easier. Finally Smart Shutdown 1.4 Final
After nearly half a year of public beta testing, Slawdog has finally finished the successor of the famous 1.3 SR2 release. In general, there are many little changes over the beta version. However, it is also the last member of the 1.x series. This means that despite all current advances of the 1.4 code, Slawdog will not release any intermediate versions between the announced Smart Shutdown LX and this release. There is still much work to be done with LX and we will be working on it during upcoming months. February 5, 2003

Slawdog A-Life 1.3c Released
Slawdog has launched the new version of its award-winning artificial life simulator. Updates include small bug fixes and a few interface improvements. As a bonus, it also comes with a previous product of ours named Epidemic, which simulates viral interaction. October 25, 2002
Smart Shutdown 1.4 Beta sees the light
After three months of development, Slawdog has released the continuation of the Smart Shutdown 1.x series. This new version eliminates all bugs that were discovered in 1.3 SR2, features greatly enhanced Windows XP support, comes with a new version of the shutdown engine, and contains plenty of minor enhancements (both visible and internal) over many parts of the program. SPP has been Discontinued
As of August 20th, Slawdog has discontinued the Slawdog Password Protection (SPP) software, in accordance with our new business strategy. Our resources which were allocated by SPP development and support will, from now on, be invested in our other products and services. August 20, 2002

This new service release eliminates all known bugs, features improved support for Windows NT/95, comes with updated documentation, contains an improved Dependable Timer System (DTS), and has a few slight interface improvements. May 31, 2002

Our media now has the capability of displaying images. Also included are some long awaited bug fixes and greatly improved performance, the ability to launch plug-ins in their own windows, and several other improvements.
