A Shift in Services Focus In effort to consolidate its resources and discontinue slightly profitable services Slawdog E-Solutions has stopped providing intranet and extranet design, consulting, and web hosting services. Instead we will concentrate on software development and web design. Life is Over As of August 19th 2005, Slawdog E-Solutions has discontinued the Slawdog A-Life software, in accordance with total reorganization of its business. As a result, Slawdog permanently stopped development of new versions, removed all A-Life installation packages and related information from corporate website, and requests the removal of A-Life from 3rd party software listings and websites. Changes are Coming As of August 12th, 2005, Slawdog E-Solutions has been acquired by new owners. Ipso facto, in the near future Slawdog will undertake a complete business reorganization. Finally Smart Shutdown 1.4 Final After nearly half a year of public beta testing, Slawdog has finally finished the successor of the famous 1.3 SR2 release. In general, there are many little changes over the beta version. However, it is also the last member of the 1.x series. This means that despite all current advances of the 1.4 code, Slawdog will not release any intermediate versions between the announced Smart Shutdown LX and this release. SPP has been Discontinued As of August 20th, Slawdog has discontinued the Slawdog Password Protection (SPP) software, in accordance with our new business strategy.
